Imantics was founded in Silicon Valley by engineers from the semiconductor equipment industry. We introduced the Athena platform in 2015 and deployed HydroView™ on live water infrastructure.
The vision was machines that understand their own health. In 2015 the AI to deliver it didn't exist: predictive maintenance needed labeled failure histories and per-site engineering, machine fault-reasoning wasn't possible, and cloud-only AI was a non-starter inside a fab.
Then the technology arrived.

Agent Athena™ (2026) is the 2015 vision, finally buildable — a decade of equipment-data experience carried onto AI that can deliver it. And it runs air-gapped.
Semiconductor equipment is our beachhead — the hardest deployment environment in industry, and the one we know best. It is also where the industry's clearest deadline sits: fabs that run unattended by the end of the decade. That target cannot be met unless every tool inside the fab can sense, judge, and act on its own condition. We build the layer that lets equipment do that, whoever made it. The approach is protected by multiple U.S. patent applications filed in 2026 and now pending.
